The Notice of Race for the 2013 European Championships has just been released along with the launch of the event website. Online entry will open soon.
Hosting the event is the Yacht Club Arbon, on Lake Constance, Switzerland, in cooperation with Sailability Switzerland. The regatta will be conduceted from May 7-12 and includes the Access 2.3, 303, Liberty and SKUD 18 European Championships.
The Yacht Club Arbon was founded in 1966 and its recently renovated clubhouse offers the ideal infrastructure for championships. The marina at Arbon is the main base for Sailability Switzerland and provides the necessary infrastructure for people of all abilities. These include two big launching ramps, wheelchair accessible landing stages and two lifts for transferring sailors.
There are hotels of every standard and other accommodation to choose from, ranging from private rooms, through barns, tepees, camping grounds and numerous holiday homes to rent. Arbon is easy to access by rail, bus or car, and the closest airports are St.Gallen-Altenrhein, Zürich-Kloten and Friedrichshafen.
